The Birdcage

Crossing narrative storytelling with dance performance, this short follows a young man who finds himself stuck in a dull, repetitive loop, leaving his body almost paralysed - like a bird stuck in a cage. As he joins a dinner of friends, the people around him seem theatrical and doll-like. He crawls under the table to escape the scene and sets out on a journey to find back the movement within himself.
